Compass 2015: A Movement Organizing Conference in Nashville, February 5th and 6th

This coming weekend, the Tennessee Alliance for Progress will host a movement organizer and leadership conference to foster active solidarity amongst Tennessee organizers. The conference sessions will provide learning experiences around emerging themes in organizing including new economies, healing justice and culture, and movements.

The conference is open to and designed for people of all levels of experience.

The event’s Keynote Facilitator is Ash Lee Henderson, Regional Organizer at Project South. She will provide a plenary interactive workshop on the Peoples’ Assembly process on Saturday.

While online registration is closed for Friday due to space limitations, there’s plenty of space available for Saturday.

Saturday Sessions – 9:00am – 4:30 pm. Providing learning experiences for around 100 organizers, leaders and participants in Tennessee movement organizations. Eastwood Christian Church (1601 Eastland Avenue, Nashville TN 37206)

Registration fees are $10-25 per day, according to your ability to pay. Lunch is included.
